Who can buy from Something Different?
We are strictly a trade only website and do not sell to the general public. This means that in order to purchase with us you must be a registered company and be purchasing stock to resell and not for your personal use. We welcome customers who sell online as well as in retail shops. Click here to register; this will only take a moment.
What is your minimum order?
We currently offer a no minimum order policy which means that our customers have the flexibility to purchase as few or as many items as they wish. Please note that there is a £5 surcharge for any order placed under £50 excluding VAT. Full details about our no minimum order policy can be found here.
How do I see your prices?
To view our prices you will need to register your details by clicking on the register button which appears top right. Please fill in the necessary details. Your user name will be your e mail address and you choose your own password. You will be logged in straight away and you will have access to the trade prices. All prices listed on the website are for one item unless otherwise clearly stated.
The prices on the website do not include VAT. 20% VAT will be added to the order in the shopping basket at checkout stage. If you're invoice address is located in the EU and you entered your VAT number at the time of registration, VAT will be automatically removed from any order you place on our website at checkout.

What are your delivery prices?
Our delivery charges vary according to country and delivery option. For UK customers (Excluding Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland), delivery is free if you spend £75 plus VAT. Please click here for full details of all our delivery options including international shipping information.
When will I receive my order?
Our standard delivery times vary per country, UK mainland standard delivery is 4 working days. We also offer premium delivery services to receive your order quicker. Please click here for more details. Once your order has been placed you will receive an email from us with details of your order and instructions on what happens next. Delivery dates can be selected at the checkout stage.
Do you dropship?
Sorry, we do not offer a dropship service at this time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards including Visa, Visa Debit, Delta, Mastercard and Maestro. We also accept Paypal. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express. Payments can be made online, over the telephone or via BACS.
Am I able to collect my order?
Yes. We offer a collection service at our warehouse via a collection online order. Please tell us that you would like to collect your order in the Additional Notes section of our online basket system. Please click here for our address details.
Recommended retail prices (RRP)
The price that you wish to retail your items at really depends on your market, your overheads and your competition however, the general rule is to multiply the wholesale price excluding VAT by 2.4. For example: If you buy an item for £1.25 + VAT then you would expect to sell that item for £2.99. An item priced at £1.66 could be retailed at £3.99. If you are buying in volume and receiving the quantity discounts then you will be making a greater profit.
Our website is updated continuously. As items sell out they are removed from the site and as new products come into the warehouse they are added to the site so it is worth checking the website regularly to see what is new and back in stock.

What happens if there are items out of stock on my order?
We do our best to make sure that items featured on the website are all in stock however, occasionally there are surplus orders of particular items which can sell out before our website is updated. Any item on your order which is out of stock will be placed on back order. Back orders are automatically sent when stock is available and payment for the stock will be taken from your pre-authorised payment card. You have the option to add to your back order at anytime and this can be done by either making a note on your next web order or by emailing email@example.com
What if an item is damaged or missing from my order?
We take great pride in our packaging and if you have any damages in your delivery it is important that you contact us within 5 working days. Please send an e-mail and if possible an image of the damaged item to: firstname.lastname@example.org We will reply and either put a credit on your account or we may request the damages are returned to us. If items need to be returned we will give you details of how we would like them returned and we will refund you the cost of the carriage or have them collected. Credits will be held on customers accounts for 3 months. Please note that all damages must be returned in their original packaging and as originally supplied. How do I use a credit note with my order?
In some circumstances you may receive a credit note from us to use with your order. Credit notes are not automatically deducted from your order total. If you would like to use a credit note with your order, please specify this in the Additional Notes section of the online basket. We will adjust the total manually before taking payment. Alternatively please contact our customer service team on 01792 940 288. Please note we only keep credit notes active for 3 months.
Use of our images
We are happy for you to use any of the product images on the Something Different Website however please note that our Something Different Logo, any other subsidiary logo and our lifestyle images are copyright to Something Different Wholesale Ltd. If you would like to use a particular image and are unsure about anything please contact us to discuss. Please note that we do not hold high res images of all of our items however if you would like to request a high res image of a specific product, please contact us on: email@example.com

Do you offer exclusivity?
Although it is something that we are occasionally asked, unfortunately we are unable to offer exclusivity to our customers. At Something Different we have a large and varied customer base ranging from multiple retail shops to online retailers across the UK, Europe and Worldwide. Paired with our extensive and ever changing collection of products on offer, exclusivity is not something that we are able to offer. We hope that you will understand our reasons behind our decision and we are hopeful that you can find something in our wide product range to suit your requirements. Oil burner and candle safety information
At Something Different, we supply a large variety of candle holders and oil burners. All of our products come with the standard safety warnings that we advise our customers to follow at all times. We have also put together the following safety information regarding the use of these products. If you have any further enquiries with regards to any of these products, please contact our friendly customer services team for more information. The following information should always be followed when using a candle holder or oil burner product: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn out of the reach of children and pets. Always place a burning candle/oil burner on a suitable surface away from flammable objects. Extinguish candles with a candle snuffer, do not blow them out. Never use water to extinguish a candle. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions on candles. Remove all packaging before use. Do not allow hot wax to come into contact with skin. Always use a standard tea light candle for all oil burner products. Please take care when moving an oil burner/ candle holder as these may get hot while in use. Leave sufficient time for the product to cool down. Always ensure the oil is diluted before using with an oil burner. Not all oil burners are suitable for wax melt products. Candles for hanging or outdoor use should be carefully secured at all times.

From time to time we run promotions and offers. Below you can find our standard terms and conditions which apply to these promotions.
Promotions are only valid for the time periods outlined in the promotional messaging and orders placed outside of these time frames cannot be amended to include the promotion. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The minimum spend for a promotion is always excluding VAT. Any times displayed in promotional messaging are either GMT or BST.
