WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM ORDER?
We are proud to offer a no minimum order policy to customers in the UK.
Our customers have the flexibility to purchase as few or as many items as they wish and we welcome retailers of all sizes.
For customers based in the EU and Northern Ireland, we have a small minimum order of £150. Please click here for more details.

Our website is updated continuously, so it is worth checking the website regularly to see what is new and back in stock.

WHEN WILL _____ BE IN STOCK?
Many products on our website feature convenient 'Stock Due' dates. To view, simply sign into your SDW account and look for the grey due date under the desired product.
We also encourage users to click the orange 'Notify' button to be emailed as soon as the product is available to order.
Please note that stock due sates are approximate and are subject to change.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY CHARGES?
Our delivery charges vary according to country and delivery option.
For UK customers (excluding Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland), delivery is free if you spend £50 plus VAT.

VAT AND DUTY
Prices listed on our website do not include VAT.
20% VAT will be added to the order in the shopping basket at checkout stage. As of January 2021 if your invoice address is located outside of the UK, you will now be governed by the tax rules of your country. For more information on Brexit changes, click here.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards including Visa, Visa Debit, Delta, Mastercard and Maestro. We also accept Paypal. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express. Payments can be made online or over the telephone.
When an order is placed with Something Different Wholesale we take pre-authorisation from your credit or debit card (this is an authorisation from you to take funds from your card). No money is taken from the card at this stage and an order confirmation will be e-mailed to you.
When your order is ready to be dispatched we will send you an e-mail confirming the goods we are sending and the value. If items on your order are out of stock, we will only take payment for the goods we are sending.
HOW DO I APPLY A PROMO CODE TO MY ORDER?
We frequently offer special promotional codes to help save you money. To apply a code to your order, simply click the purple (+) symbol underneath the items in your basket.
Promo Terms & Conditions:
Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
Times are displayed in GMT/BST and promotions are only valid for the time periods outlined in the promotional messaging. Orders placed outside of these time frames cannot be amended to include the promotion.

Free gifts are only available whilst stocks last and will be added to orders upon dispatch.

HOW QUICKLY DO YOU DISPATCH ORDERS?
ALL orders placed before 3pm (Monday to Friday - excluding Bank Holidays) are dispatched on the same working day! Orders placed after 3pm are dispatched on the next working day.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Our standard delivery times vary per country with standard UK delivery being 2 working days. We also offer premium delivery services for even quicker delivery.

WHAT COURIERS DO YOU USE?
At Something Different we want to provide you with fast and reliable delivery services at the best prices available and we are proud of the long-standing relationships we have built with our courier networks.
All of our UK parcels are currently sent with our Courier partner UPS. Once the order has been dispatched and passed over to UPS, UPS will contact you directly with tracking information regarding your package.
All parcels for delivery outside of the UK are also sent with UPS and all commercial and customs paperwork is provided. For full information on parcels to the EU please click here
As with many UK companies delivering to the EU, due to complications with EU borders, EU deliveries are currently subject to a longer delivery time. We are working in conjunction with UPS to provide you with the best service possible and ensure all paperwork is available.
AM I ABLE TO COLLECT MY ORDER?
Due to concerns around the pandemic we currently advise that customers do not collect their orders from us. If you do need to visit our warehouse please contact our customer care team to book an appointment and please wear a face mask at all times.
Please note that our warehouse is not open to the public.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK?
Our website is updated frequently and we do our best to make sure that any items featured are in stock and available to purchase. If there is a product on your order that becomes out of stock, the product will be removed and you will not be charged. Your email address will be added to an automated 'notify me when in stock' message so you will be the first to hear when the product is back in stock and available to order.
WILL YOU PUT MY OUT OF STOCKS ON A BACK ORDER?
If you wish to place a back order for an item, we require a minimum value of £50 for that particular line.
Once the stock is available we will automatically send this out at the earliest opportunity and take payment from your previously used payment method. We regret that we cannot take any back orders for single out of stock lines under £50.
WHAT IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED OR MISSING FROM MY ORDER?
To report damages and missing items please fill out the following form within 5 days of receiving your order.
Once we receive your information, a member of our team will be in touch with further instructions within 7 days.
HOW DO I USE A CREDIT NOTE WITH MY ORDER?
Credit notes are not automatically deducted from your order total.
If you would like to use a credit note with your order, please specify this in the Additional Notes section of the online basket. We will adjust the total manually before taking payment. Alternatively please contact our customer service team on 01792 940 288. Please note we only keep credit notes active for 3 months.

CAN I USE YOUR IMAGES?
Of course! We are happy for you to use any of the product images on the Something Different Website, but encourage our customers to take their own creative images to fit their needs and stand out.
Please note that our Something Different Logo, any other subsidiary logo and our lifestyle images are copyright to Something Different Wholesale Ltd. and we do not hold high res images of all of our items. If you would like to request a high res image of a specific product, please contact us here.
WHICH TRADE FAIRS ARE YOU ATTENDING?
Due to recent events, Something Different Wholesale is not attending trade fairs for the foreseeable future.
If you would like to view our newest collections, you can visit our Online Showrooms for product videos, imagery and further information about our ranges to give you inspiration for new products to offer your customers.
DO YOU OFFER EXCLUSIVITY?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exclusivity to our customers.
Due to our ever-changing product catalogue and large customer base across the UK, Europe and Worldwide, exclusivity is not something that we are able to offer.

WHAT ARE RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICES (RRP)?
The price that you wish to retail your items at depends on your market, your overheads and your competition. However, the general rule is to multiply the wholesale price (excluding VAT) by 2.4.
For example: If you buy an item for £1.25 + VAT then you would expect to sell that item for £2.99. An item priced at £1.66 could be retailed at £3.99. If you are buying in volume and receiving the quantity discounts then you will be making a greater profit by following the same general rule.
ARE YOUR WEIGHTS/MEASUREMENTS ACCURATE?
Please note that all weights and measurements on the website are approximate. Some of our items are made from natural materials so will vary slightly in size and weight from the product in the photograph. Weights are shown in grams and dimensions are shown in centimetres.
WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS ETHICS?
As an international supplier of giftware to retailers all across the world, we recognise our responsibility to monitor and continuously improve our supply chain to ensure that all of our products are manufactured in factories that support workers and respect their human rights.
Our suppliers are required to complete a questionnaire prior to working with us to acknowledge their agreement to comply with our standards as listed in our Ethical Trading Policy.
Our sourcing agents or buyers act on our behalf to monitor the factories in our supply chain through periodic and unannounced visits to ensure they remain compliant.

OIL BURNER AND CANDLE SAFETY INFORMATION
At Something Different, we supply a large variety of candle holders and oil burners. All of our products come with the standard safety warnings that we advise our customers to follow at all times.
We have also put together the following safety information regarding the use of these products:
The following information should always be followed when using a candle holder or oil burner product. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn out of the reach of children and pets. Always place a burning candle/oil burner on a suitable surface away from flammable objects. Extinguish candles with a candle snuffer, do not blow them out. Never use water to extinguish a candle. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions on candles. Remove all packaging before use. Do not allow hot wax to come into contact with skin. Always use a standard tea light candle for all oil burner products. Please take care when moving an oil burner/ candle holder as these may get hot while in use. Leave sufficient time for the product to cool down. Always ensure the oil is diluted before using with an oil burner. Not all oil burners are suitable for wax melt products. Candles for hanging or outdoor use should be carefully secured at all times.
