The Magic of Packaging: Transforming the Giftware Experience
As designers of giftware for over 25 years, we believe that the magic of a gift should begin the moment it’s placed on the shelf. Over the last few years, we’ve embarked on a mission to transform how our products arrive in the hands of your customers.
Historically, many of our items were housed in plain white boxes or even lacked packaging entirely. Today, 95% of the products we develop feature thoughtfully designed picture box packaging or swing tag labels. This shift wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about increasing "shelf appeal" and ensuring the end consumer feels they are receiving something truly special.
Pushing the Boundaries of Creativity
More recently, we’ve moved beyond "simple boxes." Our design team is now treating the packaging as an extension of the product itself. Take, for example, these recent creations:
- The Hedgehog House: We designed an ornament box that mirrors the shape of a cosy cottage, creating an immersive experience for the Hazel the Hedgehog Resin Ornament. The box has a rope handle, so it can be easily transported home without the need for a carrier bag.
- Goth Socks: For these fluffy socks, we’ve embraced our dark side, utilising a unique coffin-style gift box to add further appeal to the target market.
- Bakery Treats: For this salt & pepper set, the packaging has been designed to look like a bakery basket carrier, complimenting the charming theme of the product.
- Spooky Stories: Our Halloween-themed incense cones, such as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Ghost Stories, feature packaging designed to look like spooky books, perfect for seasonal displays.

Optimised for the Retail Ecosystem: From Warehouse to Window Display
Our packaging is engineered to be a functional asset within the retail environment. We recognise that shelf real estate is a premium commodity; therefore, our designs are scaled to provide maximum visual impact without an excessive footprint.
We believe the best packaging adds value long after the initial sale. A perfect example is our Essential Oil Gift Sets. Rather than a disposable sleeve, this set is housed in a thick, premium cardboard box featuring a secure magnetic seal.
This isn't just "packaging", it’s a permanent storage solution. Some of our packaging also serves as a functional element of using the product. Our ‘spell in a box’ products safely store the candles when not in use and also have a built-in holder for when the candle is lit.

Every piece of packaging includes appropriate warning labels and essential product information, translated into over 22 languages to support our international partners.

We are deeply conscious of our environmental footprint. We work strictly to ensure a low volume of packaging as part of European green initiatives, balancing premium presentation with sustainability and legal requirements.
Our Buying, Design and Quality Control teams have invested time into packaging research to source new materials such as Hexi Wrap and inventive ways to utilise cardboard boxes for extra protection. By actively monitoring our materials, we comply with UK Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and EU Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
