Who we are?
We stared trading as a family business in 1988 doing one day markets.
After four years we opened our first retail outlet in Swansea and went on to open another three shops in the South Wales area. The greatest challenge was getting the buying right.
- To be competitive you had to buy at the right prices.
- To get the right prices you had to buy in volume.
- If you bought in volume and got it wrong you have lost all your money.
- If you found a good line and wanted to order more, quickly you couldnt because you couldn't make the minimum order!
In 1998 we opened a warehouse to supply our own shops and we were soon asked by local retailers if they could buy from us. So we stared the Cash & Carry.
The Cash & Carry was very popular and we were getting requests from other parts of the county for a mail order service, but we wanted to create a service like no other, one that addressed all the problems we faced when we started as a small independent trader and a service that could also handle volume orders for multiple retailers.
We launched the website in 2000 and became one of the pioneers on Internet wholesaling. We made sure we offered all the services we would have wanted when we were a start up business, an independent retailer and when we had multiple shops.

We now have the turnover to be able to import directly from manufactures across the world, we also have product ranges designed and manufactured exclusively for us.
